A fabulous stay at the Crazy Bear Stadhampton.A great welcome from reception and beautiful quirky surroundings.Our room was delightful with the copper bath full of bubbles! Loved it.The Service at the bar and restaurant were both welcoming, fun and professional together with the most amazing Thai food, absolutely delicious!Special mention to Joal!.. the cocktails were fab, especially his Baileys Expresso Martini. An amazing night away in the midst of February. We will definitely return and recommend to others too. Thank you ??

Fantastic night at the Crazy Bear Stadhampton . As a first point of contact Jo?o couldn’t have been more helpful in booking us in and he was also the one to show us to our room. Bar staff were very friendly and the waiter and waitress were excellent . Breakfast was very enjoyable too and high quality . I would recommend a trip here to anyone especially for when the weather gets better.

Stayed here because we had tickets for the New Year's Eve party. When we arrived we were told that our room was not in the main building ( we had a room with the bath at the bottom of the bed) and that it was a few minutes walk away???? So we had to drag our cases down a lane, past private cottages then over gravel and into a driveway of a normal looking suburban house, our room was in side here. ￡485 for this, room only ---- no breakfast!! The attention to detail is just not there, no plugs for hairdryers on dressing table, no mini bar, bath had holes in it, there had been a leak in the ceiling water works as the velvet was stained, the door to the bathroom was missing and another had not been put on, the light in the wardrobe was hanging off and prevented the door from closing, the iron steam did not work properly but my ABSOLUTE bug bear was the broken toilet seat. Within 5 minutes of arrival my husband was on his hands and knees trying to fix it. JUST UNACCEPTABLE. We walked to the bar to meet our friends and walked in to a man holding a screwdriver whom we asked if he could fix our toilet seat which he gladly did. How does this happen, that housekeeping did not report this. If the loo had been cleaned properly they would have noticed this. This room should really be taken out of service and bought up to standard. We were severely disappointed. However the party, the food, staff and entertainment were first rate. But stay else where if I were you.

Please bring back the amazing Thai food you used to serve over the last 20 years. I know things change but the food is now very average whilst the prices are not. The starters used to come with with special dips, the duck rolls were fresh and soft. The ones we had were oily and fried. Same as the tempura prawns it all tasted like it was out of a frozen bag and deep fried. We were happy to pay the price for the top quality Thai that you couldn’t find anywhere else. The excitement to eat the original Thai food that you used served has now gone.

Incredible stay for early Christmas party! Our first time a CB hotel and we loved every minute. We stayed in a Bougee room with a copper rolltop bath in the bedroom. Rooms are incredible and in addition to the bath, we had a huge walk-in wetroom with enormous shower, u/floor heating etc. Every detail throughout the hotel is carefully designer and so different from anywhere else we've been. The website is currently not great and I was unable to contact the hotel by telephone to confirm the room we wanted. There was also a small error on our bill that we only realized after we left and again, unable to get in touch by phone. However, we emailed and were called back by the front office manager who was brilliant. Everything resolved swiftly and we understand you are aware of the telephone issue (too many calls to answer) and working on it- recent change in ownership/management. Mistake happen and it's how we deal with them. We will definitely be back and hope to try Beaconsfield next time!

This hotel was exceptional. It was like an experience out of England. The hotel room was insane, out of this world. The decoration was beautiful and so luxurious. With beautiful gardens and restaurants. Thai restaurant was 5 star and well worth the money. Will be highly recommended to friends and family.

Fantastic stay at Stadhampton Crazy Bear; we stayed in a Boujee room which was a short walk from the main hotel. Comfortable bed, bathroom had a jacuzzi bath (although the jets didn’t seem to work).. and a ceiling shower. We ate in the Thai restaurant, food was delicious. Spent a considerable time in the bar, great barman (unfortunately I didn’t get his name!) really good atmosphere. We’ve stayed in both Crazy Bear hotels now :)
